The Secret Garden marquee at Burwash Manor wedding venue is a fantastic location just a short drive from Cambridge. It has a fully kitted out marquee and a private garden in the grounds of the medieval manor. The day began at the Doubletree Hilton hotel in Cambridge with Alannah & Ashley getting ready with the bridesmaids and groomsmen in separate but nearby rooms, which made it easy to cover both of their preparations. We then headed to Cambridge Register Office for the ceremony, and afterwards we headed up Castle Hill for some shots over the city. Everyone made their way to Burwash Manor for the reception and Alannah & Ashley were greeted with a shower of confetti. The drinks reception was held in the private garden and there were lots of fun lawn games for everyone to play and bring out their competitive streak. We made some time for a few formal photos before the wedding breakfast and speeches. After coffee was served, the light was at its peak so we took Alannah & Ashley off for an explore of the Burwash Manor wedding venue and captured some portraits. Back in the garden the games were continuing right up until the dancefloor lit up for the first dance. The evening was a tonne of fun with lots of dancing and we wrapped up the day with a sparkler exit.
