This was such a fun Cambridge College pre-wedding shoot. P&D had been students at Queens and Newnham, so we were booked in with security at both these colleges to be able to shoot within their beautiful grounds. We began at Queens and even had the Mathematical Bridge to ourselves for a bit, which was a priviledge, before exploring the Tudor courtyards and college gardens. After leaving Queens we made a stop at the iconic Kings, and then across the Backs in the direction of Newnham. After a quick outfit change and a new college to explore, we enjoyed winding through the gardens and finding fresh inspiration. With the light starting to fade, we wanted to squeeze in one more location into the pre-wedding shoot – Coe Fen – one of the more natural open spaces in the city centre. There was still time for one more outfit change and we spent the remainder of the light capturing some final relaxed portraits of P&D as a couple in the city where their story together began.
