Jessica & Peter’s Harlaxton Manor wedding was a real scorcher of a day, falling during the peak of 2022’s heatwave. The photograpy coverage began with Peter getting ready with his best man at The Gregory Arms, opposite one of the gated entrances to Harlaxton Manor, before they made the short but stylish journey in a vintage VW Campervan to the venue. Guests had started arriving and were gathering in the beautiful conservatory, full of big tropical palms. The wedding ceremony took place in the Gold Room, and the highly ornate stately room was packed with family and friends. After the emotional vows and ceremony, the wedding party then enjoyed the drinks reception between the conservatory and any spots of shade outside. Towards the end of the drinks reception we made time for some family and group photos on the shady side of Harlaxton Manor, and then a few portraits of Jessica & Peter. As it was such a hot day and a really bright sun, we thought it would be best to save the majority of the couple portraits until later in the day when the sun was less intense. Everyone then made their way inside for the wedding breakfast and speeches. After dinner, the wedding party made their way outside to enjoy the summer evening. After Jessica tossed her b0uquet, we went for an explore of the beautiful grounds and to capture some relaxed portraits of the two of them. The first dance kicked off the evening party in the Great Hall, a stylish oak panelled room with a spectacular chandelier. Later on in the evening everyone enjoyed a colourful fireworks display on the lawns outside.
