Leanne & Rafal’s Barnsdale Gardens wedding ceremony took place in the beautiful oak arbour surrounded by the magical gardens. The photography began at The Barnsdale, an elegant hotel just a stones throw away from Barnsdale Gardens. Leanne was getting ready with her mum and auntie, while Rafal was with his two daughters and best man. When they were both ready, they met in the courtyard for a first look, as they would be arriving at the ceremony venue together, and walking up the aisle together too. Guests were arriving at Barnsdale Gardens, which is a wonderfully curated space with a wide range of different gardens and was looking fantastic – the team do an incredible job there. The area where weddings are held are a perfect space for smaller weddings, and the rest of the gardens make a wonderful canvas to explore and a backdrop for photos. The ceremony took place within the wooden arbour while guests took their seats on the lawn in front. Tissues were at the ready for the mum’s happy tears, and then confetti was on hand for the newlyweds exit up the aisle. Guests then enjoyed drinks in the gardens while we made time for a few family photos, and then a few photos with Leanne and Rafal in the nearby gardens. My time at the wedding was short, as the rest of the day would be back at The Barnsdale, with a dinner and party later in the evening.
