Charlotte & Alex’s Ely pre-wedding shoot took place on the weekend they should’ve been getting married, but the pandemic had other plans. They’re one of thousands of couples who have sadly had to postpone their big day, and instead will be tying the knot next year at Emmanuel College in Cambridge. We met up in the late afternoon to try and catch the best light for the time of year, and we weren’t disappointed. We met just outside Cherry Hill Park; it’s a lovely green space with awesome views of Ely Cathedral and makes for a great backdrop for couple photos. After spending some time finding the best spots in the park we headed for a stroll along the river, before winding our way back through town to the cathedral itself. It was a great couple of hours, perfect to get to know Charlotte & Alex a bit better and create some photos for them before their wedding later next year.
