An Emmanuel College Cambridge wedding is always a great day. It’s a fantastic settingĀ in the centre of Cambridge with huge gardens and pretty cloisters, a grand dining hall and a perfect oak panelled party room. The day began with Charlotte and her 3 bridesmaids getting ready at the Gonville Hotel, just a short ride from Emmanuel College. Alex and the groomsmen were getting ready at the College, so we had some time to get some shots of the boys before the ceremony, which was in the beautiful 17th century chapel at Emmanuel which was designed by Sir Christopher Wren. Once the wedding ceremony was complete, guests spilled out into the sunshine. We gathered everyone together for a big group photo, before making our way to the mature gardens behind the college for the drinks reception. There was time here for lots of candid photos of guests enjoying the day, family photos and portraits of Charlotte and Alex. The wedding party then made their way to the dining hall ready for the wedding breakfast and speeches. In the evening, guests enjoyed ceilidh dancing and a traditional Ukrainian vodka song.
