Lottie & Christian’s wedding was my first visit to Glebe Farm Barn wedding venue near Norwich, and it proved itself to be a wonderful location and ideal for relaxed vibe weddings. The day began photographing Christian getting ready with his Best Man brother Joe, who also happened to be Best Man at my own wedding a few weeks prior! Christian was getting ready in a spacious suite in the St Giles House hotel in the city centre, and after capturing a few details and moments between the brothers, it was time to catch up with Lottie and her bridesmaids. She was getting ready at home just a short drive away. It was a nice and relaxed morning with Lottie getting the hair and make up treatment while the bridesmaids did their own thing. Once all the prep was complete, it was time to head to Glebe Farm Barn wedding venue in the Norfolk countryside. The ceremony would be taking place outside, with guests seated on benched and surrounded by meadow, it was incredibly idyllic. Lottie had grown the flowers herself for the wedding, and had made a fantastic suspended floral display as the centrepiece for the ceremony. Someone else had also arranged the perfect sunny weather for the day. After the joyous ceremony the guests showered the newlyweds with confetti (home made, of course) as they exited the meadow towards the barns where the reception was held. Everyone then enjoyed drinks and canapés and a few garden games, before we made some time for some family and group photos in the cottage garden. We also took a few portraits of Lottie & Christian, before gathering everyone together for a big group photo right before guests took their seats for the wedding breakfast. The barn was beautifully decorated with flowers grown by Lottie and loads of hand crafted details. After eating it was time for the speeches, and they were a wonderful combination of sincerity, humour and emotion – with plenty of hankies dampened. Afterwards we tried to catch the best of the evening light and took a stroll with Lottie & Christian around the farm for a few more photos. Evening was then upon us with plenty of drinking and dancing and the perfect celebration to a beautiful day.
