Sam & Matt’s Granary Estates Newmarket wedding was a real joy to photograph with so much fun throughout the day. We began with Sam and her bridal party getting ready with the hair and make up artists in the bridal cottage on site. The Granary Estates is a great all-in-one with wedding venue with everything on-site and set up ready to go. There was constant smiles and laughter throughout the day which always makes it a fun and energetic one to capture. The wedding ceremony was held in the main barn, a beautiful cobbled flint building adorned with fairy lights. After the ceremony guests headed out to the garden for the drinks reception and canapes, while I concentrated on capturing lots of fun candid photos before the family formals needed to begin. We did all the group photos in the same garden, and while the guests made their way back to the flint barn which had been transformed for the wedding breakfast, we went for an explore with Sam and Matt to capture some relaxed portraits. After dinner and speeches the guests were treated to a surprise performance by the Singing Waiters. These entertainers always go down well and get the guests up on their feet and the party started. We were also serenaded by the brides dad who did an excellent job on the microphone. In the evening we captured some low light portraits of Sam & Matt in the courtyard garden around the festoon lights. The evening saw a packed dance floor with plenty of shapes thrown and a good time had by all.
