When I met Hannah & Neel to discuss their Granary Estates wedding photography, I was looking forward to the big day for two reasons. First off, they’re a really cool and relaxed couple, and I knew photographing them would be lots of fun. Secondly, I’d been wanting to shoot at theĀ Granary Estates in Newmarket for some time, so would finally get to check out this much-loved venue. The end of September of finally arrived and I made the journey down the A14 to Newmarket and met Hannah with her family in one of the on-site cottages. The vibe of photography for the day was natural, relaxed, documentary style for the most part, and so I captured the morning’s events as the unfolded. Neel soon arrived at the Granary Estates and so I went over to say hello and get a few shots of him welcoming guests. The ceremony was held in front of family and close friends in the intimate Flint Barn. After the vows, ring exchange, readings and signing of the register, the wedding party made their way into the garden for drinks, nibbles and lots of catching up and laughter. Towards the end of the drinks reception, we took a few family photos and a big group shot too. Everyone made their way inside for dinner followed by speeches inside the large Granary Barn. Afterwards we had time to explore the grounds together, and Hannah & Neel were naturals in front of the camera and seemed to really enjoy our little photoshoot. The evening kicked off with the first dance and two confetti cannons showered the bride and groom during the crescendo of their song. Everyone then joined the bride and groom on the dancefloor, and there were some seriously good dancing on show!
I’d like to say a massive thanks to Hannah & Neel to choosing me to be your photographer, I had a blast and am delighted you and your family love the photos.
