A King’s College Cambridge wedding is always going to be special. But add to the mix a fun and relaxed couple, climbing castle mounds for city views and leisurely punting along the river and it’s an absolute peach of a wedding. The day began at Becky’s parents house where she was getting ready with the bridal party, and it was such a nice morning we hung her dress outside for some detail shots. Toby was over at their house in Cambridge getting ready with the groomsmen, and I had second shooter Georgi with me on the day to cover this side of the morning. The ceremony was held at the Cambridge Registry Office, and afterwards we made our way up Castle Hill just outside for a few photos with the Cambridge skyline. The guests then made their way across town to King’s College for the reception. Becky & Toby and the bridal party instead made their way to the river, and they punted along the backs to arrive at King’s College in true Cambridge style.
The Back Lawn hosted the drinks reception and it was a fantastic setting for such a gathering, while entertainers kept the kids happy. After we’d made time in the gardens for photos, everyone headed to the Hall for the rest of the celebration – including the wedding breakfast, speeches and a romping ceilidh to kick off the evening.
