I first met Sam & Matt at the Sussex Barn Burnham Market wedding fair in 2018. Fifteen months flew by and the big day had arrived. Both Sam & Matt were staying at the White House, the luxurious B&B on Sussex Farm, so I was able to capture parts of both their mornings before the ceremony. Sam was getting ready with her sister and two daughters in the bridal suite, while Matt was with his groomsmen in the White House. Guests soon started arriving and the patio outside the barn was filled with chatter and cheer. Sam made the short walk over to Sussex Barn where the wedding ceremony was held. It’s a great venue with plenty of natural light for great ceremony shots. After the knot had been tied, everyone enjoyed drinks outside in the June sun. We made time for a few family photos by the flint barn and also a big shot of all the guests gathered together in front of Sussex Barn. While the wedding party made their way inside to find their seats for speeches, we took Sam & Matt for some pictures in the surrounding landscape, which is a mix of rural Norfolk lanes, wildflower meadows and cereal fields – all perfect for wedding photography! It was then time for dinner and speeches which were held in the same room as the ceremony. We were lucky to get a gorgeous summer evening and so made the most of the last light with a few more photos, before the dancefloor became the focus for the evening.
