I travelled down to Surrey for Chloe & Ben’s The Barn at Botley Hill wedding. The day began in Dartford with Chloe and her bridesmaids getting their hair done at Chloe’s parents place. We then headed to The Barn at Botley Hill, a stunning wedding venue perched at the highest point of the beautiful North Downs. The getting ready continued with the girls getting their make up done and the boys fixing their suits and button holes. The wedding ceremony took place in a rustic brick barn decorated with blooms and balloons. After the ceremony the guests threw confetti as Chloe and Ben exited and then we all paused there for a big group photo of the entire wedding party. Everyone then made their way round to the drinks reception, in a more modern and purpose built, glass-front barn. It was a great space for everyone to mingle and enjoy drinks while a violin and cello provided them ambiance. Towards the end of the drinks reception we headed outside to capture the various family and group photos, along with some portraits of Chloe and Ben. The venue offers spellbinding views of the surrounding rolling countryside, and the full height glass wall at the end of the two reception barns gives great reflections of the Surrey sky. Back inside the barn and it was time for guests to take their seats for the wedding breakfast and speeches. The large barn has one huge window at the end overlooking the countryside, and its a really cool space for a celebration like this. Later on during the dinner service there was a surprise appearance from the Singing Waiters who belted out the tunes while the guests took to their feet, danced on the tables and snaked in conga lines around the venue. The party was well and truly started. After dinner we made time for some more portraits outside when the sun was golden and low and best for pictures. The evening saw a thumping party and a packed dance floor and topped off a super fun day. If you are planning a Barn at Botley Hill wedding and are looking for a photographer then please get in touch!
